How long does a kitchen renovation take?
A typical kitchen runs about 4-8 weeks on site once materials are in, depending on scope and any layout or plumbing changes. You get a firm start and finish date in writing, and we build to it.
Can I use my kitchen during the renovation?
For most of the build, no, since the cabinets and counters come out. We sequence the work to keep that window as short as possible and set up a temporary kitchen area where we can.
Quartz, granite, or marble: which countertop should I choose?
Quartz is the low-maintenance default: sealed and stain-resistant, so it shrugs off daily use. Granite suits a natural look, and marble is beautiful but porous and higher-maintenance. We match the stone to how you actually use the kitchen.
Do you build custom cabinets or install stock?
Both. We design and install custom and semi-custom cabinetry with solid plywood boxes and soft-close hardware, sized to your space and how you cook.
Do I need a permit to renovate my kitchen in Toronto?
A like-for-like refresh often doesn't, but moving plumbing or walls, or updating electrical, usually does. We tell you exactly what's required and handle the permit and inspections when needed.
